Insects we treat
Webs in every corner. A wolf spider darting across the living room floor. Dozens of small spiders appearing out of nowhere in the basement.
Most spiders are harmless — some are even beneficial. But when their numbers exceed your tolerance, when arachnophobia makes your home uncomfortable, or when webs keep accumulating faster than you can clean them, it's a legitimate problem that deserves a solution.
Spiders don't show up by accident. They go where the food is — meaning other insects. A high spider population is often a symptom of an underlying insect problem. That's why we don't just treat the spiders — we look for what's attracting them.
The vast majority of species in the Outaouais are harmless. There are no established black widows or brown recluses in our region. If you have doubts about a species, send us a photo.
Spiders seek warmth and mating partners before winter. It's a normal seasonal peak — but if numbers become excessive, a treatment effectively reduces the population.
We don't aim for total elimination (and it's not ecologically desirable). The goal is to control the population to an acceptable level and prevent accumulation. A residual treatment at entry points delivers excellent results.
If numbers have become unmanageable, if arachnophobia is affecting your daily life, or if webs keep reforming despite regular cleaning — yes. And often, we discover an underlying insect problem that explains the accumulation.
