Insects we treat
You can't enjoy your patio anymore. Saturday BBQs have moved indoors. The kids come back covered in bites. Your yard is unlivable from June to September.
Service available in Ontario only (Ottawa and region). Mosquitoes are more than a nuisance — their bites itch, disrupt sleep and, in some cases, can transmit diseases (West Nile virus). For properties near wetlands or wooded areas, the problem is often chronic.
Let's be honest: we can't eliminate every mosquito on your property. They're flying insects that breed in the smallest accumulation of standing water. But we can dramatically reduce their population around your home or business so you can enjoy your outdoor spaces again.
Identifying standing water sources (clogged gutters, tires, pot saucers, ditches, tarps) and resting areas (dense hedges, undergrowth, shaded zones).
Recommendations to eliminate or treat standing water sources. This is the single most effective measure.
Residual products applied in mosquito resting areas (vegetation, under porches, shaded zones). Reduces the active population around your property.
For properties in endemic areas (lakefront, forest, wetlands), a program of regular treatments during warm season maintains a lasting comfort level.
Yes, for the treated area. Perimeter treatment significantly reduces the population around your home — not in the entire neighbourhood, but in your outdoor living space. The combination of source elimination + residual treatment delivers the best results.
In endemic areas, every 3–4 weeks during the season (June to September). For an urban residential property, 2–3 treatments per season are often sufficient.
Yes. Health Canada-approved products, applied in vegetation and resting areas — not on direct contact surfaces. We provide re-entry times before returning to the treated area.
Citronella candles have a very limited effect (a few centimetres around the flame). UV traps attract and kill insects, but mostly non-mosquito species. Neither replaces professional treatment for a serious problem.
